Randy Huffman, CPA
Randy brings nearly 30 years of public accounting experience to PlannedWell. Before joining the firm, he spent more than 28 years with Didawick & Company in Staunton, serving individual and business clients through tax preparation, financial reporting, accounting, audits, and practical business guidance. Earlier in his career, he worked with Robertson, Farmer, Cox & Associates in Charlottesville, including governmental audits for Virginia localities.
Randy earned his Bachelor of Science in business administration with a concentration in accounting from Bridgewater College, graduating in the top five percent of his class. He values the relationships behind the numbers and looks forward to understanding each client’s circumstances and helping them work through tax questions with the broader picture in mind.
Raised in Verona, Randy has deep roots in Augusta County. His grandparents operated farms in Raphine, Stuarts Draft, and Fort Defiance; his father was an independent hauler and Navy veteran, and his mother was a registered nurse at Western State Hospital. Randy and his wife, Erica, live in Fort Defiance and have been married for 27 years. They enjoy traveling, fishing, and spending time with their family. Baseball has also long been part of their family life: their son pitched at James Madison University and was drafted by the San Diego Padres.
